a blanket of ease

ok, here we are. this moment we have been waiting for for a long time… 

here i have for you… a chamomile love story. 

she came to me she with such grace on a tuesday afternoon.. sitting on my porch, a gentle breeze blew through the juniper trees & then like on a pure stream of grace a white butterfly came fluttering across the street in late october approaching the new moon. 

chamomile is a white butterfly in october.. she is the grace of gentle strength.  

she is a sanctuary of feminine peace.

& reminds us of the responsibility we have to choose peace.

I basically am writing this whole blog to tell you chamomile is so much more than just a “sleep tea.” 

side note & plant jokes... Lol i had “so much more” in all caps at first, and then she was like no no caps.

Chamomile is not uppercase letters if you feel me hahaha

do you have a person in your life who whenever you see them, or maybe even just see their name or even think about them your entire being relaxes, settles, c a l m s, all whilst feeling slightly… giddy? like not overly excited tho (lol overly excited is so not chamomile).. just a precious giddiness. someone you really just love. maybe even a pet, or a tree. gentle calm peaceful excited. like a sense of relief.. "thank god they are in my life.." this is the essence of chamomile.

she is relaxed, laid back & totally at-ease.. in peace. 

at-ease is her code.

peace is her wisdom. 

mellow is a good word for her. she’s mellow lol i’ve had one too many cups of chamomile so a mellow giddiness for sureeee adorns this love story. 

i’m typing this & just dropped my phone bc my hands are so relaxed. lol chamomile is soooo funny! 

she is giddy calm. 

she’s mellow. 

encoded with ease.

joyful serenity. 

blissful peace. 

delightful seas/sees. 

protector of sight in the night. 

the grandmother & the child. 

a masterpiece of great peace.

she is the calm & knew it was never a storm, just a breeze in the great cosmic Mother’s Mystery.

her petals soft white clouds of peace decorating the sky. 

An herb of the sun, she balances the lunar & solar energies within. bringing balance & harmony. chamomile a dear friend of the ancient sun god Ra, who knew the importance of counseling with her often.

she is the ah at the end of the day. 

a sweet melody of serenity.  

is it honestly so sweet i smile softly as i write this, while sipping her tea. 

she is so playful & has been gently nudging me to sit with her for some time. 

yet all is always on time with the plants :) she obviously needed to wait until the autumn day to send the white butterfly my way.

collectively known as a sleep tea, this is very well let’s say hmm.. tip of the ice burg. she is more than just a “sleep tea.” lol

chamomile is one of the most beloved & sweet nervine plants. once you really get to know her you realize she is like milk & honey.. mhmmm. 

her molecular structure & wise spirit is calms, soothes yet up lifts & rejuvenates. 

she is one of the most wonderful plants for the modern person's nervous system. 

for one who may feel any sense of doom & gloom, she is a love balm of Gaia, her love a fragrant perfume that will calm all your nerves. she calls humans forth to rise above, to choose peace over the illusion of suffering, of separation.

under certain conditions she has the ability to turn into Mother Mary. read that last sentence twice if you need to. xx lol the plant riddles. 

Chamomile gently taps you on the shoulder reminding you that you have needs.. & that your needs are golden keys.

chamomile reminds us of our deepest needs, & how to tend to them.

this season a perfect time to meet a wise gentle plant ally. & work with her in relationship as a soft deeply feminine guide. 

she is the balm that can keep humans from burn out, through teaching us to spend some time with & discover what are needs are.. & then she assist one in creating a life based around honoring these needs.. yes yes magical indeed is she.

she is a nurturing hug from Gaia. reminding us of the true  v a l u e  of deep slumbering rest.. 

an important ally as we are in the midst of fall, she can help us process assimilate & digest the cyclical year that is now half way gone. her gentle feminine spirit assist ones in any sort of “liminal” space.. *(we are all in liminal cyclical time right now between fall & winter so listen to the gentle loving whispers of this charming plant, & take c a r e.. take extra care, extra gentle loving care of yourself!) 

as mentioned above, chamomile is one of the best herbs for daily digestion of life, relationship, emotional experience. she literally helps the body, emotional body & spirit body digest life.

a chamomile bath after a long day can assist your soulful self in digesting the day properly bringing much lightness & joy in the process :)

she is a queen at calming overwhelm.

there is always great importance in the intention of creating relationship with any plant allies.. creating sacred relationship with them they can feel this & an unspoken reciprocity is exchanged which allows the human heart to open a little bit more to the assistance from the plant.

to be in relationship with this plant, is truly a divine gift the modern human can give themselves//nervous systems :) 

for those whom may experience seasonal depression, her gentle uplifting loving balm is here to help.

she helps shift perspective to allow, appreciate & value rest as the sacred medicine of winter, & bring a lightness & play to challenging days. 

chamomile is like "why on earth are humans not reseting more.. let me help."

giving ourselves the gift of rest, even for just a day, now that is a love letter in itself.

working with her over the winter season will support you so much!
